  • First proposed at the 2016 Ministry of Defense 4th Industrial Revolution Conference

  • PoC project launched in partnership with the Republic of Korea Navy (2018), to test against non-AI tactical algorithm based on previous battle doctrine

  • At the final stage, +15% win-rate achieved (65% vs 35%) 

  • Generated virtual battlefield using real naval terrain data

  • Algorithmically built from satellite and terrain data

  • Fully automated terrain generation and mission training

  • Battlefield generation and unit deployment triggered by lat-long input, followed by fully automated reinforcement learning via cloud computing
